Woodie is a magnificent looking animal that is bred deluxe, is big, and muscular, and has a bright coppery sheen to his coat.

Woodie is out of the great broodmare "Jacks Miss Scarlet" a proven producing own daughter of the immortal TWO EYED JACK. His sire is Hollywood Heat X Hollywood Dun It, Bobby Lewis great roping, reigning stallion. His pedigree is loaded with great horses such as Hollywood Heat, Hollywood Dun It, Hollywood Jac 86, Doc O Lena, Jacks Miss Scarlet, Two Eyed Jack, & Star Duster.

Woodie was broke and trained by Gary Wells as a young horse, and he was ready to start showing, Gary said he really liked him, when we brought him home to breed mares. Unfortunately after breeding season we were unable financially, to send him back to Gary to start his show career and his only job around here since, was to breed mares. He has done an excellent job of that, but, it seems a shame to us that he can't be promoted in the show ring. If he sells to someone that will promote him fine, if not, he will stay here and continue the excellent job he has done so far, in breeding some of our mares.

One of his colts is now entering the cutting horse show arena and a mare that was started by John Crow of the Wetfork Ranch of Canton TX, is on her way to a cutting horse trainer.
